By accessing or using PicMotif, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

PicMotif is a web-based photo mosaic creation platform. Users can upload photos, select shapes or text, and generate mosaic artwork. The service includes features for saving, publishing, and sharing mosaics.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• One person may not maintain more than one account

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all photos and content you upload to PicMotif. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your photos for mosaic generation
• Display your published mosaics as part of the service
• Create thumbnails and previews of your content

You represent that you own or have the rights to all content you upload. You may not upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the platform
• Upload content that contains malware or malicious code

6. Intellectual Property

The PicMotif platform, including its design, features, code, and shape library, is owned by PicMotif and protected by intellectual property laws. The shape silhouettes provided in our library are licensed for use within the platform for mosaic creation.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

PicMotif is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for using the service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
